Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Brigade Management, Inc. ("Brigade," "we," "us," or "our"), the provider of BrigadeAI, collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with our website at brigadeai.com (the "Site") and the BrigadeAI platform and related services (the "Services"). By using the Site or the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

1Scope of this policy

This policy applies to two categories of individuals: (a) visitors to the Site, including those who submit a demo request, join our waitlist, or otherwise contact us; and (b) authorized personnel of government agencies that use the BrigadeAI platform under a written agreement. Where a separate agreement between Brigade and a government customer addresses the handling of that agency's data, the terms of that agreement control with respect to operational data.

2Information we collect

Information you provide to us

When you submit a form on the Site or communicate with us, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include your name, job title, agency or organization, government email address, the level of government you represent, and the contents of your message.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our infrastructure and security providers automatically collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring pages, and pages viewed. This information is used to operate, secure, and improve the Site.

Cookies and similar technologies

The Site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our content-delivery and security provider (Cloudflare) may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the Site against malicious traffic, and we load typography from Google Fonts. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Agency operational data

For government customers, the Services process records and content that the agency submits to the platform ("Operational Data"). Section 4 describes how we handle that data.

3How we use information

We use the information described above to:

• Respond to inquiries, schedule and deliver demonstrations, and manage waitlist requests.
• Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and the Services.
• Communicate with you about the Services, including administrative and, where appropriate, informational messages.
• Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the information you provide for third-party advertising.

4Agency operational data

Government agencies retain ownership of their Operational Data. We process Operational Data solely to provide the Services to that agency and as directed by the agency. Specifically:

• Operational Data is never sold, and is not shared with other customers or aggregated across agencies.
• Operational Data is never used to train public or third-party AI models.
• BrigadeAI is architecturally scoped to keep out of certain sensitive categories. In particular, the Services are not designed for, and do not process, Criminal Justice Information (CJI), Protected Health Information (PHI), or records from transactional systems of record (such as HR/payroll, permitting, court, or CAD/RMS systems). Upload-time content scanning is used to prevent such content from entering the platform.
• The Services are for internal government-staff use only and do not expose citizen-facing surfaces.
• Operational Data is processed within U.S.-based, access-controlled environments, consistent with the applicable agency agreement.
• A human-in-the-loop model applies: BrigadeAI is designed to assist authorized personnel, not to make automated decisions on their behalf.

5How we share information

We share information only as follows:

• Service providers. With vendors who process information on our behalf under contract. The website at brigadeai.com is currently supported by IONOS (hosting and email) and Cloudflare (content delivery and security). Subprocessors used to operate the BrigadeAI platform for a government customer are disclosed in that customer's Agency Agreement or data processing addendum. Service providers are contractually permitted to use information only to provide services to us.
• Legal and safety. When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Brigade, our customers, or the public.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to the commitments in this policy.

We do not share Operational Data except as directed by the agency or as required by its agreement with us.

6Data security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, multi-factor authentication, role-based and least-privilege access controls, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect information consistent with the sensitivity of government data. 7Data retention

We retain the information you provide through the Site for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, manage our relationship, and meet our legal obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified. Operational Data is retained and returned or deleted in accordance with the applicable agency agreement.

8Your choices and rights

You may request to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information you have provided to us, or opt out of non-essential communications, by contacting privacy@brigadeai.com. Agency personnel should note that requests concerning Operational Data are handled through the agency in accordance with its agreement and applicable public-records and records-retention laws.

9Children's privacy

The Site and Services are intended for government professionals and are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10U.S. data processing

BrigadeAI is offered for the exclusive use of United States government entities, and information is processed and stored in the United States. The Services are not intended for use outside the United States.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Site or Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
